IT support services in Canberra from AU IT

Every moment that any of your IT assets stops functioning correctly, or causes confusion for your staff, equates to lost productivity and wasted money. Getting your systems back in working order as fast as possible should always be the highest priority.

AU IT is a local business providing a range of IT support services in Canberra. When you have a computer problem, get in touch with us for the fastest and best solution.

Put your trust in fully managed IT support

Most IT support services only help you when you have a problem. AU IT is different. We believe it is much better if we can help you avoid problems in the first place, so then you won’t need to call us for help. This can be achieved if you take advantage of our offer for fully managed IT support. This is different from regular support because it takes support to the next level.

When you choose this option, we’ll take care of all those important tasks which you may otherwise overlook or simply not know about. This keeps your systems protected, backed up, and running optimally. When your IT systems are running at peak efficiency, your staff will be, too (or at least there won’t be any excuses not to be). Better security, better productivity, and fewer problems… there’s a lot to like about fully managed IT support.

How we are giving the best IT support in Canberra to our clients

You might think all IT support services are similar, but the truth is that the quality and procedures of services can vary by a large margin. Our service works because we don’t take a formulaic approach to tech support. Instead, we get the facts, make an assessment of what those facts indicate, and then we deduce the remedy from that.

Not every problem can be solved by “turning it off and then on again”. In fact, there are certain issues where that could be the worst action to take.

We also encourage clients to think about their IT assets from a problem prevention point of view. We give advice based on our many years of experience, and indeed the many problems we know of that have been encountered by others, so you can have a better chance of avoiding problems.

There are very simple things you can do to reduce the chance of a problem occurring or to lessen the consequences when a problem does arise.

For example, storing user files on the same hard drive that you store your operating system on is not a very good idea. If you store your user files on a separate drive, then problems affecting the operating system will have less chance of affecting your files. That’s logical, but amazingly, most people just keep their user files in the default location that the operating system creates during installation.

This kind of thing isn’t thought of as a problem because people make backups of their data, but what is forgotten is that very few people backup their data every time they create a new file or work on an existing one. So restoring from a backup may work, but it won’t necessarily recover everything that was lost.

If you want the kind of support for your business that really solves problems and helps you prevent them, call AU IT and find out more about the services we offer.
